Looking at the EVO 43, one must confessed and agree that this luxury yacht is designed to perfection. It’s expandable properties give the vessel yacht-like amenities while its architectural styling and power options provide a performance boat profile. Its straight bow V-hull with 18-degree deadrise cruises smoothly even in rough water, and the construction of infused fiberglass makes it strong as well as handsome. Highly customizable hull and upholstery colors, allow each EVO 43 to convey the owner’s tastes. The teak deck and curved teak helm demonstrate craftsmanship and the modular, cubed seating options provide further customization for bench or individual seats. Minimalistic, yet cleverly functional, the EVO 43 adds flexibility for avid boaters.

Also, technology does plays a major role in EVO design and production. From its touch screen controlled “XTension” borders, broadening the beam of both the aft deck and swim platform at the touch of an iPhone or iPad, to its fold away cleats, anchor and fender hook, EVO Yachts incorporated many useful technological applications for user-friendly ease. As the rear deck expands 40% to 270 s.f. in 30 seconds, recessed lounges rise from the floor and steps drop to offer water access without danger from engines or propellers. A lower, stable step, the “Transformer” can rotate, support people, lower water toys or equipment into the water or be raised to create a dive platform.

The engine compartment and electrical panels have easy access from the deck where large storage and cooler areas are located beneath the wet bar with 2 Kenyon grills. Twelve people can easily cruise, enjoying sun pads, chaises, swim platform, entertainment spaces and privacy below.

Clear Plexiglas steps offer futuristic descent to the air-conditioned lower deck with a 46” LCD 3-D TV, disguised as a mirror, two large cabins, a designer head and shower with yacht-like fixtures. For the U.S. model, a leather storage locker in the salon becomes a column housing a microwave and refrigerator, creating a mini galley; the dining area can seat 12 around a teak table, which then recesses to the floor or can become a king-sized berth. To port, another double cabin invites friends for overnight stays.

Power options provide leisurely cruising with three, Volvo Penta IPS 500 (740 HP) or 600 (870 HP) engines; a performance option offers a Cummings 550 straight shaft engine with 1100 HP. With the height of European elegance, featuring fine wood, carbon fiber, leather and teak construction, the owner can choose power options to be admired while cruising, or seen quickly as a flash across the water.

Rosario and Alfredo Mercuri, owners of Evo Yachts, commented, “For EVO Yachts this new collaboration marks the beginning of our expansion into international markets, a natural evolution, facilitated by the global reputation and press coverage that our first model, the EVO 43 earned with its debut last year. G Marine is one of the best dealers in USA–we could not find a better partner.”

“We are primarily boaters, who also sell boats,” says David Galante, partner in the G Marine family business. “We are captivated by excellent construction, function, customization and the pure joy that boating brings to our families and clients. We carefully select the partners with whom we work and EVO Yachts fit our criteria. We are pleased to showcase this Italian workmanship in November at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, along with Astondoa and Fairline.”
