Hawaii’s Polo Club 50th Anniversary Celebration
Based on the North Shore, Hawai’i Polo Club is concluding its 50th anniversary celebration with the launch of its 2014 season. The season, beginning April 6 will run every Sunday, continuously, until Labor Day.
The most anticipated events of the season include the Cinco De Mayo Celebration taking place May 4th; Argentina VS Hawaii on May 18th and 25th; New Zealand VS Hawaii on June 15th an d 22nd; Mexico VS Hawaii on August 10th; and India VS Hawaii on August 24th and 31st.
The Mokulē‘ia club also features a clubhouse for season ticket holders, and after the polo matches the players often mingle with the crowd at the festivities held in the beautiful location.
Hawai’i Polo Club is not only known for hosting one of the most prestigious sports in the world, but its prime location on 100 acres also provides access to skydiving, trail rides, weddings, and special events. The Hawaii Polo School and Training Foundation operates out of the location, providing lessons and horsemanship training as well as organizing benefits to support charities such as needy North Shore children, Wounded Warriors and other important causes.
